Legible Handwriting! YEAH

One of my goals for David is to improve his handwriting and boy oH BOY I think I have done it! I tell him all the time "do your best or you will rewrite it", "you are molding yourself today for who you will be tomorrow". Apparently, its clicking up there! I took a picture from his english paper from "private schooling" last year. Is mama excited or what?

You can create your own worksheets at www.worksheets.com This website is great for handwriting sheets. You can even control sizing, spacing, and write what you would like. I always write something about what David likes to do to make it fun for him.

The Light Hut- Project idea by Exploring Creation with Botany

We are so excited with our first Homeschool Science project this year. This is only the beginning! We have decided to grow an organic garden loaded with a huge variety of vegetables for the fall. Considering our science curriculumn this year is botany the project is just perfect. Gardening here we GO!

Lesson no. 1 teaches the kids how to make a Light Hut and grow some plants inside the hut. It's a great environment for a variety of plants. We have selected our seeds from www.parkseed.com and they were here in less than 4 days. As I write dad is on his way to Homedepot to buy wood for our 4x4 square garden. We'll keep you posted on our progress. keep checking back
